MAGNA, Utah, June 15th 2021 – Magna United Communities that Care (CTC), a community coalition focused on youth substance use prevention, launched its new website last month.
The website, created by WoDoBo, makes it easier for community members, partners, interested stakeholders, and others to explore the work Magna United CTC is doing as well as how to get involved.
Users can navigate between the “about” page and “events” page to learn about coalition leadership, how the coalition is structured, to get a look at some of the coalition partners, ways to get involved, and upcoming coalition meetings and events. Under the “resources” tab are coalition created documents that the coalition wants to share out with the community it serves.
“One of the first priorities of the Community Outreach and Public Relations Workgroup was to create a coalition website,” said Kellen Schalter, Magna United CTC Coalition Coordinator. “As a community coalition, Magna United CTC wants community members, interested organizations, and other potential partners to know about the work the coalition is doing and to be able to have an easy way to keep up and get involved.”
The Magna United Youth Coalition started meeting March 2021 and has since held informational booths on vape prevention and mental health awareness. They will keep meeting over the summer at the Magna Library. To learn more visit: https://magnaunitedctc.com/youth-coalition-division/
